Favoriten is one of Vienna’s most multicultural and diverse districts. In this documentary, we are introduced to a class of children aged seven to ten. Their teacher, Ilkay, is deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Many of the pupils speak a language other than German at home. Some families carry the burden of war-related trauma, and many face discrimination in their everyday lives.
