A school trip to Pompeii takes an unexpected and intense turn for a group of French high school students. During their visit to the ruins and the petrified bodies of the victims of Mount Vesuvius, James, Toni, and Suzanne—along with their Latin teacher—are suddenly overcome by a strange and dizzying sensation.

In this eerie setting, their deepest emotions increasingly take hold. Desire, anger, and despair take over, causing the characters to push their boundaries further and further. What begins as an ordinary school trip thus transforms into an intense experience in which they come to know themselves and each other in a completely different way.

Marine Atlan plays with the boundary between reality, desire, and emotion. The mysterious atmosphere of Pompeii serves as the backdrop for a story about young people who are completely swept away by their feelings.
