“There must be a Palestinian museum in Belgium, in the heart of Europe, where people will always remember what happened.”

In the foyer of De Werf, NW presents Gaza remains the story, an exhibition in collaboration with the Palestinian Museum. Historical information, personal testimonies, photographs from the 1980s, and graphic art showcase the resilience and distinct identity of Gaza and its inhabitants.

The material comes from The Palestinian Museum in Birzeit, which aims to share its story beyond Palestine. PalestinaMuseum vzw, founded in 2024, works with volunteers to promote Palestinian culture and history in Belgium. Their mission: a Palestinian museum in the heart of Europe, as a lasting memory and a counter-narrative.
