Dress to Kill – Public Programme

around the exhibition by Pauline Curnier Jardin

The public programme accompanying Pauline Curnier Jardin’s Dress to Kill moves fluidly between registers, from carnivalesque spectacle to critical cinema. The series begins on Halloween with an intervention by Princess Arendcarnaval, followed by rare screenings of the mythopoetic films of Le Nemesiache, cult classics ranging from Brian De Palma to Virginie Despentes, and activist queer cinema such as Criminal Queers. A conversation addresses intimacy and ageing, while Young NW offers their own re-reading of the exhibition. Complementing these events are children’s workshops, guided tours and a selection of publications curated by Rile, extending the exhibition’s reflections on bodies, desire and transformation. On the last Sunday of every month at 2:00 pm (during Dendy Sundays), join a guided tour led by a member of our team, ranging from curators to volunteers and Young NW.
